ok, so i still have not received any further payment from the ex-roomate. My sister-in-law saw her out last night and she was going to ask her to write a check to just get it over with. She saw her in the bathroom on the phone freaking out then ran out the side door of the bar. I know she has anxiety issues big time (she pops xanax like its her job). She wont respond to any of my e-mails or certified letters. So I’ve decided that I’m actually going through with finding a lawyer. I think the demand letter is all that I would need for her to pay because i think she’s freaking out already. She knows she’s already lost and its just going to cost her more money the longer this takes and the more difficult it has to be. Does anyone know how much just a demand letter would cost? I have never worked with a lawyer so i have not the slightest clue.

I’s simply shake the dust off my shoes, take it as a lesson, and live happily ever after. I’d definitely spend my time, money and energy on more worthwhile activities. Life is too short to fight loosing battles. Just my humble opinion.
